Luca is a 16 year old student living in Holland. He booked in mentoring sessions with me because even with all his best efforts to eat well he was still suffering from stomach and gas problems. He is one of Holland’s youngest apprentice chefs and despite his growing knowledge of food and changing his diet he couldn’t figure out why he felt so bloated all the time.
His mum’s very supportive but he admits he’s not good at listening to parental advice preferring to get ideas and tips from social media. His mum suggested he contact me as she’d had great success herself working with me 1:1 and felt I’d be able to ‘get through’ to him.
Danielle was very kind and helpful. She reviewed my diet and lifestyle as well as any underlying emotions. She helped me discover which foods were causing the bloating as well as creating personalised audio files to help with my emotions. My stomach is much calmer, no more bloating and I would definitely recommend her if you are having a health issue you can’t fix yourself.
Leona is a 16 year old student who balances her studies with going to the gym and swimming. She had not had her period for a few months and it was causing her to worry. She was not sexually active and despite having no period was still getting all the PMS symptoms especially the bloating and cramping.
Her mum got in contact following a podcast** she’d listened to where I shared my journey as a menstrual wellbeing educator. Her mum had tried different approaches including supplements, herbal teas to help with her daughter’s symptoms but nothing had helped.
Through menstrual cycle awareness and some personalised self care practices Leona’s period returned and with significantly less bloating and cramping. She’s on the right trajectory and is really happy about it.
Leona’s mum messaged to share:

Skye is 7 years old and was really struggling with not having control over her bowel movements.
Super stressful for all!
She was not able to tell when her body was needing to go to the bathroom.
This meant she only knew when it was too late making a mess of her ‘undies’ and clothes. It also meant her parents were worried about her enjoying play dates not to mention that other kids may make fun of her.
They tried lots of things including medication from the doctor (which they didn’t want her on for too long), changes to her diet as well as trying their best to make sure she had a bowel movement each morning before going to school.
This last option was a winner as far as Skye was concerned. It allowed her to take her iPad to the loo to watch her favourite TV show which her parents thought might relax her and encourage a bowel movement.
Whilst some of these approaches did help a little, it wasn’t addressing the root cause.
So after consulting with me I suggested tummy massage each morning and evening to help relax the belly but most importantly to discover if Skye was worried or anxious.
Turns out she was!
She was stuck in the middle of two friends fighting over her which was causing her a lot of stress.
The situation has now found its resolution which means although Skye can no longer take her iPad to the loo (boo!) she can now happily head out on play dates with her new friends (hooray!).
